Chord Finder analyzes guitar, piano, or any instrumental recording and returns a timed chord sheet: each chord with its timestamp and a confidence score, plus a detected key signature when the analysis is confident. Using the tool is free. You can upload a file, import from your library, or record directly with your microphone. Copying the chord sheet to your clipboard is free too; downloading it as a TXT file requires a paid plan.

How to use it

  1. Upload or record the audio you want analyzed.
  2. Run the analysis — you’ll get the chord timeline, chord/note counts, and the key.
  3. Play along, copy the sheet, or (on a paid plan) download it as songname-chords.txt.
