Once your track is finished, you can release it to all major streaming platforms directly from Vocuno. Distribution requires a paid plan (see plans and free releases). Open Distribution and click Create a Release. The release opens in a full-screen workspace with six steps and a progress bar. Move freely between steps; once your release has a title, Vocuno saves the draft each time you change step.

Your release

Enter the release title, choose a release type, and pick your artist profile.
  • Release type. Choose Single (up to 3 tracks), EP (2 to 6 tracks, or one track of 10 minutes or more), or Album (2 or more tracks, or one track over 30 minutes). A release can hold up to 35 tracks. For a one-track release, the release title must match the track title exactly.
  • Artist profile. Your first release creates a reusable profile. Choose Existing artist if you already have music on the stores and link your Spotify or Apple Music artist page (use the Spotify artist search, or paste your Apple Music link). Choose New artist if this is your first release. Add your artist name, legal name, country, bio, and any social links.

Music

Upload audio files or click Pick from library to add songs you made on Vocuno. MP3 and other formats are converted to WAV automatically. Reorder, remove, and preview tracks here.For each track, answer:
  • Was AI used in this recording? (No, Partially, or Entirely)
  • Does this track have vocals? Vocal tracks also need a language and lyrics.
  • Recording year
Under Version, ISRC & downloads, add a version (for example “Radio Edit”), mark the track Explicit, or mark it as previously released. A previously released track needs its existing ISRC and the original release date.

Artwork

Upload a square JPG or PNG (3000 × 3000 px recommended), or click Choose from library to use art from the Cover Artwork tool or one of your song covers. If your image isn’t square, Frame your cover opens so you can zoom and position it yourself; Vocuno never crops it silently. Then answer Was AI used for this artwork?

Credits

Stores require at least one entry in each group:
  • Writers (Composer, Lyricist, or Composer/Lyricist). Use a legal first and last name, not your artist name. Click Use my legal name to fill it in.
  • Performers (Primary Artist, Featured Artist, or Remixer). Performers use the release’s artist name. Credit real people under Writers or Production instead.
  • Production & Engineering (Producer, Executive Producer, Mixer, Mastering Engineer, or Recording Engineer).
If you credit a Remixer, give each track a mix version such as “Remix” or “Radio Edit”.

Details

Choose a genre and subgenre, the metadata language, and the release date (at least three weeks away). Fill in the copyright owner (©) and recording owner (℗) with their years.

Review and submit

Check the summary and fix anything flagged as missing, then click Submit for review. Your release moves to Submitted, and you can follow it from the Distribution dashboard. See Manage your releases.
Click Save draft to save and keep working, or Save & exit to return to the dashboard. Repeated saves update the same draft.

Release from the mobile app

In the Vocuno app for iOS and Android, open Release a song to send one song to the stores. Pick a song from your library or your phone, confirm the title, artwork, artist, genre, language, and release date, answer the AI questions, and tap Send to the stores. Most fields fill themselves in from your library. Follow your releases on the My releases screen, which also tells you when one needs your attention. EPs, albums, revenue splits, and changes to a release after delivery are set up on the web.

Metadata tips

ISRCs can’t be changed after a release is delivered, and you can’t add, remove, or reorder tracks after you submit. Double-check your track list before you click Submit for review.

Frequently asked questions

Choose a release date at least three weeks after you submit. That gives the stores time to review the release and have it live on your date. Follow its progress in the Distribution dashboard and on the Calendar tab.
Yes. Vocuno does not take a percentage of your streaming royalties. Distribution is included in your Vocuno subscription.
Yes. Vocuno assigns ISRC codes to new tracks and a UPC to the release when it is delivered, and saves them on your release. You only enter an ISRC yourself for a track that was released before.
Open the release, click Edit to correct details or artwork, then click Queue update. See Manage your releases.
Yes, on a paid plan. Every paid plan (Starter, Pro, Studio) includes a commercial license; the free plan does not. You own the rights to your creations and can distribute and monetize them. Answer the AI questions for your audio and artwork honestly, and review the terms of service of the underlying AI providers (Suno, MusicGPT) for any platform-specific licensing details.
Yes. An active paid subscription is required to submit releases. You can build and save drafts without one.
No. Every release goes to all supported platforms.
Distribution sends your music to the stores. To share a song with the Vocuno community too, publish it to your artist page on Listen, where people can play, like, and comment on it.
