# Sound Generator

The **Sound Generator** creates loops, textures, impacts, risers, ambience, and short audio beds from a text description — the building blocks for your productions, without digging through sample libraries.

## Common controls

Every provider takes a text prompt; depending on the engine you can also set **loop mode**, **tempo**, **key**, **duration**, and a **seed** for reproducible results.

Generated sounds land in the **Sounds** tab of your library — ready to drag into the [Studio](/using-the-studio) or layer into a mashup.
