# De-Reverb

**De-Reverb** removes room reverb, echo, and ambience from a vocal recording so the result sounds dry and studio-ready. Drop in a wet vocal, and Vocuno returns a cleaned-up version alongside your original for A/B comparison.

## How to use it

Drop in any vocal file (MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG, Opus, AIFF) or import one from your library. Vocuno runs it through the reverb-removal model and shows a live progress bar. When it's done, you get two tracks: the dry vocal and the original. Sibling tools [De-noise & De-echo](/create/audio-cleanup) handle background noise and echo the same way.

## When to use it

Run de-reverb before [Voice Conversion](/create/voice-conversion-1) or [Transform Vocals](/create/transform-vocals) when your input was recorded in a reverberant space — bathroom, hallway, untreated room. Drier inputs give cleaner conversions and better stem isolation downstream.
