# Custom Model

> Train a private model on at least six of your own tracks, then generate songs that start from your sound.

**Custom Model** trains a private model on your own catalog. Every song you generate with it afterwards starts from your sound instead of a stock model.

## What you need

* A **Pro** or **Studio** plan. Pro includes 1 custom model, Studio includes 3.
* **6 to 30 tracks** you own the rights to, uploaded or picked from your library.
* **500 credits** per training.

## How to use it

1. Open **Custom Model**, name your model, and add your tracks.
2. Tick **I own the rights to every track I am training on.**
3. Start training. It takes a few minutes and runs in the background.
4. Your model appears under **Your models** and in the **Custom Models** tab of your library.
5. Click **Use in a song**, or pick it from the **Custom model** menu in [Create Song](/create/ai-song-generator) when you generate with Suno. Choose **Standard Suno model** to go back to the stock sound.

    Delete a model to free its slot, then train a new one.
