# Audio Mastering

**Audio Mastering** polishes the loudness, clarity, and tonal balance of a finished track in one click — the final step before release.

## How to use it

1. Pick your source track (upload or from your library).
2. Optionally add a **reference track** — the master is matched toward its sound, so you can aim for the loudness and tone of a song you love.
3. Run it — **30 credits** per master, MP3 output.
4. Compare before/after with the built-in **A/B compare** player, then keep the winner.

The mastered file lands in your library, ready for [Distribution](/distribute/overview).
