# Add Vocals to a Track

> Upload an instrumental or beat and let Vocuno write, sing, and layer AI vocals on top — choose the singer, gender, and lyrics.

**Add Vocals** lets you bring an existing instrumental and have Vocuno layer AI vocals on top. Upload your beat, paste or auto-generate lyrics, pick a vocal gender, and Vocuno produces a finished mix with vocals sung over your track.

## Inputs

Drop in any instrumental (MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A). BPM is auto-detected, and you can paste **custom lyrics** or hit the sparkle button to write them with AI. Pick a **vocal gender** (Female / Male) and pick a quality mode.

## Fast vs Clean mode

**Fast** runs Suno on your beat with an optional vocal style prompt and returns a couple of finished mixes — quickest path. **Clean** generates vocal covers, isolates the vocals, and shows you previews; you then pick the best take and the AI voice (Audimee or MusicGPT) before the final mix is rendered.
